Lucas is a great marine product, it has been recommended to me by my son-n-law, and even my grandsons, who all have used these products for years. Based on those recommendations I am using it in my outboard motor. It is also good for all small engines, like lawn mower engines, rototiller engines and larger riding mower engines. It is a great all round product. Only need 3 ounces for each 10 gallons of fuel. The bottle has easy to read content level markings.

Easy to use. Seems to work. This is easier to use than it is to really know what it is doing without extensive testing. I do believe it prevents gasoline from getting stale and that it cleans and lubricates the engine. One just needs to add some to a full tank of gas.It always ensure I treat gas that is going to sit unused for long periods. That includes my snowblower, generator and tilling machine. Doing this is much easier and more economical than draining (or burning up all the fuel) and trying to drain a small engine. Plus there is the cleaning aspect as an additional benefit. The dispensing could be easier so that exact amounts could be measured out. (We need 3 oz per 10 gallons). The lid has to be cut off to be opened like a tube of caulking. The bottle claims it won’t harm any engines even if overdosed.Non-solvent. For all engines.Made in USA

I've been using Lucas fuel treatment in all my engines for years. This nice large 32 ounce size is economical and easy to use. This can be used in ANY engine, carbureted, fuel-injected, 2 stroke, 4 stroke and even diesel. They recommend 3 ounces of treatment per 10 gallons of fuel, but it also says if you overdose the fuel it won't hurt anything. It's a dark green liquid, so you can tell if a tank has been treated or not.It comes in a nice clear bottle so you can see how much is left and it has ounce readings on the side for dosing. It has a gear oil type nozzle on the top with a cap so that you can squirt just as much as you need into any gas tank opening. After having issues with poor idle, chugging and surging in engine like my lawnmowers and snowblower I started using Lucas Fuel Treatment and it cleaned out the lines and needles, injectors so that they run much smoother now. This works great for keeping injected boats up and running as well and preserves the fuel during the long Winter storage period we have.I've never drained the fuel from my engines during storage since using Lucas products and they always start in Spring.

It's always hard to tell immediately if a product like this works, but this seems to work as well as any. I've got a 1983 Evinrude outboard on my boat and will take all the help I can get on keeping it clean and running smoothly. This product is very straightforward to use - measure out 3 oz per 10 gallons of gas & pour it in. There's a measurement strip on the side of the bottle, so you can easily tell how much you've poured. I plan on running a treated tank through once or twice a month this summer.

I got this for my son and his 10 hp four stroke outboard engine that he uses on his little fishing boat. I didn’t realize when I ordered it the volume or number of gallons that it treats, which is up to 100 gallons!!! So obviously for the little 10 hp motor if this stuff is gonna last practically a lifetime! The instructions were clear measurement was easy and so far it seems to have the engine running a little cleaner. Of course this will take time to see how well it treats the motor overall and I’ll update this review at the end of summer as we know more.

Great product in a small bottle. I've been using Lucas fuel treatment in my boat and lawn equipment for years and it's proven to be a good product. Unless you can find ethanol free gasoline I'd recommend using Lucas fuel treatment because it stabilizes gas with ethanol in it. It also cleans carburetors and fuel injectors helping out the overall heath of the fuel system in your machines. A little bit goes a long why also as it only takes 3 ounces to ten gallons of gas to keep your system clean.

Its hard for me evaluate a product like this unless I’ve used it for a long time, but I have had good luck with other Lucas products, and know several mechanics that swear by them. They have been around for 30 years and have a good track record.Since this can be used as both a cleaner of parts like injectors and valves, as well as a fuel stabilizer, I thought that this same product would work well for tools like chainsaws, generators and power washers, and for my diesel tractor. These are all items that can go many months without use, are subjected to a huge range of extreme temperatures and weather conditions, and I generally like to give them some sort of extra protection because of that. This fuel treatment should work well for my use. If I am disappointed, I will update this review.I am disappointed however, in that while the instructions state the quantity to use, there isn’t really any sort of handy fill-and-dump method or measurement beyond the gauge printed on the side of the bottle. Other brands that I have used in the past have various gauges built into the bottle, and they are very handy.

We have two cars, a pickup, and a boat to take care of. Since I am one of those that absolutely detests anything having to do with getting greasy, I try to take all precautions when it comes to stuff that even MIGHT need attention, grease wise. Lucas products was/is advertised on one of my very favorite fishing shows by one of my favorite tournament fisherman. With all the high cost of both fuel and boat motors, ANYTHING I can do to help that process is a good thing. What I didn't realize was this is just as good in ANY motor fuel system. So, all my vehicles will get their fair share.... especially since none of our vehicles have under 100,000 miles on 'em.

I would recommend Lucas Marine Fuel Treatment. I have used this in my boat and I feel that it works great and it does what it says. It helps keep the engine and all the running parts clean and running smoothly. Fights corrosion that can build up in your boat motor. It works on both Diesel and Gasoline engines. Use on 4 stroke and 2 stroke motors. I think any boat motor could use some of this to keep the engine clean and working.

I’ve used Lucas marine fuel treatment for a long time. I always like to have it on hand. It appears to work for me as I have not had any more issues related to corrosion - since using it. I’ve rebuilt carburetors due to moisture and ethanol fuels. Weather it lubricates parts and all the things the description states, I don’t really know. But, I believe this product works and is insurance so you don’t run into these types of problems. Just add 3 fl. oz. for every 10 Gal. of fuel and your set.

Lucas Oil products are known for doing exactly what they say they will do.This Fuel Injector Cleaner doubles also as a fuel stabilizer so that fuels don't deteriorate during periods of long storage.Specifically a "Marine" fuel treatment but can be used in both gas and diesel engines. Marine quality is what I look for in products and usually means a superior product.A 32oz. bottle at 3 oz. per 10 gallons of fuel should last for several fill-ups. Has a handy squirt top and cap, easy to store and use when refueling. I'm looking forward to seeing improved mileage as well.

Use this everythime you fill up your boat tank or when you put it away for storrage. This will help the fuel from loosing its octaine and it will help with mositure in the taks from humidity. This will also help to keep engine componets clean and limit carbon build up. IT will also help with pinging and spark nocking. Easy to use and easy to install. The instructions are clear and the brodusts works great.

Here’s why Lucas Fuel Treatment does work and if it’s worth the added overall cost for the improved MPG.. If you’ve got a fairly new car, less than 3 years old or 50,000 miles, keeping up with your maintenance and using the correct gas is all you need at the moment, no Lucas Oil Fuel Treatment necessary..
